The Spencer County Historical Society met on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in the Rockport Library Genealogy Room.

The meeting was called to order by the president at 6:40 PM with three members present.

The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved.

The treasurer’s report was given.  The treasurer reported that the Society now has 48 members.

April 18, 2015 was suggested at the last meeting for the postponed Historian of the Year Banquet.  The president checked with the Spencer County Youth and Community Center to see if that date was available.  April and May dates had already been reserved.  The date available was March 21, 2015.  The president reserved that Saturday.  There will be more discussion on the banquet at the next meeting.

Since there were only a few members present, the rest of the items were postponed to be discussed at the next meeting.

There will be no meeting in January.

The next meeting will be February 3, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the Genealogy Room.

A motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting.  The meeting adjourned at 7:24 PM.
